Pathshala, founded by Than Singh, started to promote social welfare.
Our Mission
We Are An Indian Organization
When social reformers began to make real efforts to improve the lives of underprivileged people and rural areas, the idea to start Pathshala, founded by Than Singh, started to promote social welfare was born in 2011.
The organization began its efforts to actively contribute to the country’s development by expanding its social service contributions, fully using its education, and fostering a strong feeling of social responsibility.
Mr. Than Singh, a Delhi Police Head Constable, took the initiative to help poor youngsters and guarantee their future.
The Pathshala became his family, and their dreams became his own.
Dedicated Teachers and NSS Volunteers
Dedicated teachers are appointed for constant support and learning for the children. We have different age groups of children studying in different classes, from nursery to class 9th. For every class, one dedicated teacher is appointed who is responsible for planning lessons, delivering lectures, managing the classroom, assessing student progress, and supporting growth. Along with hired teachers, NSS volunteers also joined from MATA SUNDRI COLLEGE FOR WOMEN to educate our children. Special thanks to the Mata Sundri College for Women Principal Prof. Harpreet Kaur and the NSS team for sending their volunteers regularly.
